Shannon is originally from Austin, Texas where she started dancing at the age of four. She moved to San Antonio and trained under Ronda McClure at the Turning Point, where she started teaching and choreographing at the age of fourteen. She studied Ballet, Tap, Jazz, Modern, and Hip Hop and was in the Visions Dance Troupe where she was introduced to break dancing. With her love of Freestyle and Break dancing,
Shannon went on to compete all over the United States. After high school she went to Point Park University in Pittsburgh, PA where she was a Jazz dance major and choreographed hip hop pieces for the George White Performance and the Point Park Boat Rides. Soon after, Shannon moved out to Los Angeles, where she has worked with the Get Down Dolls Break dancing girl group and filmed various music videos, movies, and television shows. Today she is going to Santa Monica College with hopes of transferring to UCLA to specialize in Dance technology.
Besides
school and dance, Shannon is also focused on producing her own music, DJ-ing, her love of painting and incorporating all of these together to create new and exciting music videos. Shannon joined HPDC in 2009.
